What We Do
The function of the City Management Unit including supervising all bidding processes, including public works contract administration, to strategize long and short term traffic flow and road maintenance, to enforce the Freeport Bye-laws and development of new ones as needed, to liaise with Local Government, to oversee Sanitation landscape contracts ensuring highest quality service is provided, to ensure that private subdivisions and developers are proactive in meeting their legal responsibilities to maintaining developments.
City Management encompasses all aspects of maintenance for the thoroughfares in the Freeport Lucaya area, in addition to tasks with various entities which include but are not limited to:

The City Management Unit introduced the ‘City Management Helpline' in June 2005. The Helpline is a vital liaison between the communities, GBPA group of companies, Government & Private Enterprises. GBPA encourages and welcomes the input of the general public's suggestions to improve our city and better our Communities.
