This revitalization project will make a major impact on the Town Centre, will breathe new life into this once popular native and tourist destination, and will occur in three phases. Over 300 international delegates attending the first-ever Bahamas International Investment and Business Forum, participated in two days of intensive discussions on potential investment opportunities for The Bahamas as a whole and Grand Bahama in particular.

Collaboratively sponsored by the Government of The Bahamas, Commonwealth Business Council and The Grand Bahama Port Authority, Limited (GBPA), the forum has been deemed successful in having attracted attendees from over 27 countries throughout the world.

According to GBPA Chairman, Ian Fair, during international travels it is not unusual to encounter individuals who are unaware of the many advantages and concessions Grand Bahama offers to potential investors.  "We are very happy to partner in presenting a conference of this magnitude because it is important to get the word out regarding all that Grand Bahama has to offer."
