MIH Scholarship Programme

One by one, each ‘Making It Happen' (MIH) initiative is coming to fruition. At the close of the island's last senior graduation, President of The Grand Bahama Port Authority and Group of Companies, Ian Rolle (GBPA) fulfilled his promise and awarded the highest ranking academic student of each institution with a MIH Scholarship. Pleased about the level of positive receptiveness, Mr. Rolle shared these remarks, "This scholarship award is a major component of the new ‘Making it Happen' education initiative for Grand Bahama Island. These scholarships send the message that assistance is available to those who make the effort to apply themselves. And, this is our way of letting top achievers know, yes - hard work does pay off!"
