GBPA Supports Grand Bahama Soccer Camp

Soccer Moms and Dads raising aspiring superstars did not miss the opportunity to enroll their junior athletes in this year's 2009 Grand Bahama Soccer Camp, held for this week only, 22nd June thru 26th June. To show support, President Ian Rolle of The Grand Bahama Port Authority, Limited attended this morning's official opening. "The academic school year is done and these kids deserve a break. Soccer is a fantastic sport and this camp will allow our youth to further develop their motor skills while mastering soccer fundamentals," expressed Mr. Rolle.

A sports fanatic himself, Mr. Rolle did not resist the urge to "hit the field" and displayed a power kick worthy to qualify for the national team.

Rob Speller, President of the Freeport Rugby Football Club, has designed the camp to feature professional instruction, encompassing age appropriate exercises which focus on technical improvement and building a love of the game.
